Gotion High-tech has chosen Siemens Xcelerator to digitally transform its battery engineering and manufacturing processes\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Gotion High-tech (Gotion) has selected<\/a> the Siemens Digital Industries Software\u2019s (Siemens) Xcelerator software to build an intelligent battery manufacturing platform.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of achieving its digital transformation goals,<\/a> Gotion intends to use AI-enabled industrial control system technology. It plans to build a closed-loop digital research and development, manufacturing, and management platform. The platform will help to strengthen Gotion’s intelligent manufacturing of batteries and pave the way for future digital development.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Specifically, Gotion will explore the application of digital twins and battery specific digital threads. This will be across the categories of product research and development, production and manufacturing, and technical services.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe new era is about material transformation and digitization,\u201d said Li Zhen, Chairman of Gotion. \u201cAs an enterprise with a strong sense of mission, Gotion is building a system based on materials and digital science.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBy integrating digital technology into the entire process of material research and development, production and manufacturing, product operation, and battery recycling, it hopes to truly achieve its goal of green energy and empower the future. The cooperation between Siemens and Gotion aims to enhance the operational capabilities of factories through the creation of Gotion’s digital Intelligence plant.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
