The latest MCV coach body introduced to the UK on the Volvo B8R chassis offers 53 or 55 seats, with the option of a center-mounted toilet. Known as the MCV eVoTor, this model is designed for intercity and touring operations, combining comfort, practicality, and fuel efficiency. USB charging ports and overhead luggage racks are also available, enhancing passenger experience on longer journeys.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

MCV\u2019s low-entry single deck bus bodywork, the eVoRa, continues to serve operators on the Volvo B8RLE Euro 6 chassis. Launched in 2018 and further developed in recent years, it features updated styling with a light and spacious interior. To meet a wide range of operational needs, the eVoRa is available in multiple lengths: 10.8 meters, 11.3 meters, and 12.1 meters. This flexibility makes it suitable for various applications such as city bus services, interurban routes, and airport car park shuttles. In the double-deck segment, MCV\u2019s eVoSeti body on the Volvo B8L tri-axle chassis is widely adopted for intensive urban use, particularly in high-capacity applications including three-point passenger seat belts.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, MCV has embraced electric mobility with its latest range of bodies designed for the Volvo BZL Electric chassis. Available in both single-deck (nine-to-13 meters) and double-deck (up to 10.9 meters) configurations, these zero-emission vehicles are tailored for future-focused transport networks. They are compatible with both depot and opportunity charging solutions, and feature lightweight body structures to maximize energy efficiency.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Based on the constant development of MCV, MCV South Africa (MCV SA) was founded in 2007 by acquiring the famous De Haan\u2019s bus factory, one of the major players in the bus market.
