The US administration\u2019s decision to impose a 50% tariff on imported steel has prompted a swift and calculated response from Brussels. European officials have signaled that if diplomatic negotiations falter, the bloc is prepared to retaliate with tariffs targeting as much as \u20ac95 billion in US goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
